About The Interactivists
The Interactivists has been many things. Beginning as a 5-headed creative collective born from the minds of Arts University Bournemouth students who were too lazy to go to London to find work, Jim, Josh, Jason, Jordan and Tom worked hard, and for a time, it was good. Eventually though, the collective went their separate ways as apparently we were also too lazy to find work where we lived.
Realising that the branding work he’d done for the Interactivists is probably the peak of his creative career, Tom forged the site in a new direction and started writing about local artists, and for a time, it was good. Soon though, because of work priorities and other such excuses he came up with, the site folded once again.
He always dreamed of bringing it back as a show-stopping multimedia conglomerate, and now The Interactivists is back! Just not as a show-stopping multimedia conglomerate, and instead as a rambling journal of misinformation (though Tom prefers to call it a love letter to modern geek culture).
Combining Tom’s love of geek culture and creativity, The Interactivists invites the nerdy and the awesome, the geeky and the arty to celebrate and revel in all new media has to offer our feeble young minds.
