The Interactivists #GeekLife Podcast Episode 4

Wow, have I only written one thing in two weeks? Oops. You should forget about it for now though, because Episode 4 of the #GeekLife podcast is here! YAY!!

TL;DR

You should all know the deal by now. Myself and a friend or two talk down a microphone about stuff you don’t care about and that we only know very little detail about and somehow pad it out for an hour. This week it’s all the awesome TV that’s been announced by the American networks. If you want something more cultured, check out my profile of amazing illustrator and art director Rik Oostenbroek, which is literally the only thing I’ve managed to write in the last couple of weeks. I need to get on that really, don’t I…

Episode 4: A New Hope For Audio Quality

This week it’s just me and Jim, as Marcos was busy being a healthy human being playing badminton, and Sean was packing to move house. Luckily, we had awesome new equipment to make us sound good! If you want to listen to the podcast, or download it so you can take it with you, find it just below. The run time is just over an hour, and here’s the main bits:

  • Legends of Tomorrow – 0:3:00
  • Supergirl – 0:11:30
  • Our new audio equipment and how awesome it is – 0:17:00
  • X-Files – 0:19:40
  • Extant *Possible spoilers ahead* – 0:23:00
  • True Detective – 0:29:45
  • The Interactivists Day Out to Winchester Science Centre – 0:32:30
  • Minority Report – 0:40:30
  • A whole lot of rambling about videogames – 0:46:10

Tom Wood is a graphic designer based in Bournemouth in the UK and also has a BA in something-or-other from that Arts University Bournemouth - but it doesn't really matter any more. With a passion for being a huge nerd and making pretty things, he decided to combine them somehow and tell everybody about it. That's what this whole deal is. Keep it creative, and live the geek life!
